Use the console, file manager, backups, and schedules from the Pterodactyl panel. Go to Panel

Tip: If your server won’t start after adding a plugin or mod, stop the server, remove the last change, and start again. Send us latest.log and any crash reports.

Target Response & Severity

  • Critical (Down / Data at Risk): Prioritized immediately during support hours.
  • High (Performance / Major Errors): We’ll investigate logs, plugins, and resource headroom.
  • Normal (Configuration / Advice): Best-effort responses with guides and optimizations.

Please include: server address, plan size, version (e.g., Paper 1.20.6 / Forge 47.x), list of recent changes, and a copy of latest.log.

Common Fixes

  • Server won’t start: Check latest.log for plugin/mod version conflicts; remove the last added item and retry.
  • Lag/TPS dips: Use Paper/Purpur, enable async chunk I/O, cap view-distance, and profile with Spark/timings.
  • Players can’t join: Verify the correct IP/port, whitelist settings, and that your proxy (Velocity/Bungee) is configured with IP forwarding.
  • Backups/Restores: Use the panel’s Backups tab; restore creates a snapshot before replacing files.
  • Bedrock join Java: Install Geyser + Floodgate on your Java server and open the UDP Bedrock port.

What to Include in a Ticket

  • Order ID or server UUID (from the panel)
  • Exact server type and version (Paper, Forge, Fabric, Bedrock)
  • Repro steps (what you did just before the issue)
  • Logs: latest.log, crash-reports, console screenshots
  • Any custom JVM flags or startup parameters

The more detail you add, the faster we can pinpoint and resolve the issue.

Open a Ticket on Discord — Easy as Pie

  1. Click Join Discord below to enter our server.
  2. Complete any server verification (if prompted).
  3. Go to the #support or #create-ticket channel.
  4. Press the Create Ticket button and choose the category (billing, technical, migration, etc.).
  5. Describe your issue and include:
    • Server address / plan size
    • Version & type (e.g., Paper 1.20.6 / Forge 47.x / Bedrock)
    • What changed recently
    • Relevant logs (latest.log, crash report)
